»One solution for all processes«Winweb Informationstechnologie GmbH has been developing industry-specific ERP software for the food industry, the meat industry and wholesale for over 25 years. Over the years, we have developed a deep understanding of the processes in the industry. Therefore, with winweb-food, we have developed a complete system that creates complex, cross-module analyses at the touch of a button. At Winweb, we know how a recipe is calculated and how complicated Storage management can be. Batch traceability, slaughtering and cutting are included in the scalable program, as are the branch and checkout system and the connection to C&C markets. Our tailor-made ERP system helps to make purchasing and sales transparent and as simple as possible. Of course, at Winweb we are also familiar with the legal requirements and implement them in the system. For example, the document management system stores required records in a legally compliant manner. Integrated interfaces transfer data to Intrastat and platforms such as DATEV and osapiens fTRACE.

Family ties are highly valued
At the head of the company are two generations: founder and CEO Willi von Berg and his son Arne von Berg, Head of Programming. Willi von Berg founded Winweb in 1997 and developed the winweb-food software at that time with only two other programmers. Meanwhile, more than 50 employees – programmers, consultants and the support team – look after more than 250 customers. The focus is still on the ERP system winweb-food: “We develop our software entirely ourselves and thus guarantee our customers the greatest possible flexibility”, explain Willi and Arne von Berg. von Berg Junior also relies on the many years of expertise and the know-how of the experienced team. At the same time, he wants to lead the company into the future with fresh ideas. Arne von Berg studied business informatics and, after graduating with a Master of Science, is perfectly prepared for the technical and business challenges at Winweb. Since 2019, he has been heading the Programming department and, together with the team, uses agile methods to master the complex requirements and solve new tasks. In this way, the company is developing according to the latest standards and is well equipped for the future.
