Winweb cycles for the climate

In September, Aldenhoven took part in the “Stadtradeln” campaign for the first time. Of course, a team from Winweb was also at the start. For three weeks, the 13-member team pedaled diligently. All routes covered by bike were documented and at the end the kilometers ridden were added up. The result is impressive: Winweb was able to secure second place in the overall ranking with a proud 2760 kilometers ridden.

Representing the team, Arne von Berg accepted the award last week. Special thanks go to our colleague Stefan, who alone cycled a total of 1111,1 kilometers. A special achievement that was recognized separately. By the way, the campaign alone avoided 4 tons of CO² in Aldenhoven, a full 8.088 tons in NRW, and even 36.153 tons nationwide in Germany. This sets the bar high for the coming year – we are looking forward to it!
